History
Baraba, a wolf-lord to the house of Kreutz, was one day sent to the human world. A rival of Demitri Maximov, he was dispatched to do battle with the Vampire Lord, but during the confrontation, he was wounded and left for dead on Earth. Injured, and dying, Baraba would stumble upon a small village. It was there that he would collapse from his injuries, and be taken in by a young woman. She tended to his wounds, and watched over the stranger, slowly guiding him back to health. It was during this time that the two would slowly fall in love. Though never meant to be, he would soon return to the realm of Makai seeking revenge upon his attackers. However, his love for the Earth woman had left one thing behind. Inside her, growing, was their child.

Under the light of a full moon, many months after her encounter with the wolf-lord, she would give birth to the child inside her. Unfortunately, she would not live through the experience, and the child was left as an orphan, knowing neither of his parents. A family would take the child in, and name him after their own. Jonathan Talbain was brought into the world of light, but the darkness that would torment him forever had yet to manifest.

It was discovered when the moon was full, that his body would forego a horrible transformation. Unable to control these bestial changes, he was shunned by the villagers, and his own family. For the first time, as a young child, he was on his own. Living on the outskirts of London, in the forests and wilderness. The fury of the beast controlling his every action, until he stumbled upon an old book of martial arts techniques. With much studying, he would take up the arts, and use it as a means to control the inner turmoil. Through time, and age, the beast inside would no longer hold the power it once did. However, he did not wish to have this curse of the werewolf, and would seek a means to abandon it.

During this time, Jon would meet an old gypsy in the forests. Somehow knowing of his affliction, she would make him believe that if he were to reach his physical peak, that the curse would be lifted. Hearing word of the tournament being formed by Demitri himself, Jon would take that knowledge with him, and enter the tournament in hopes of becoming human once more.

The battles were fierce, but he would overcome the obstacles. During the final battle with an alien entity known "Pyron," he would feel the sudden change within him. "Yes! I can feel myself returning to normal!" As the sun rose, the curse would be lifted. He had fulfilled his wish, and was entirely human once more. Or was he?

Nightmares would begin to flood his mind once more. The beastly images haunting his dreams, and summoning his soul. He knew then that the curse remained, and would forever be tormented by it. All he could do was continue with his training in hopes of keeping the beast at bay.

Around London horrible murders would begin to take place, where victims were torn to shreds. Suspicions flew of a werewolf in the area. With this knowledge, and the vengeance, a young girl would begin her quest for the Lycanthrope's head. Bulleta, a Dark Hunter, had discovered that one of the victims in those grizzly murders, was her one grandmother. Nothing would stop her from killing that werewolf.

Jon had just began to catch wind of these murders when Bulleta stumbled across him. Mistaking him for the beast that had killed her grandmother, she would attack, but Jon would get away. In order to save his own life, he would hunt down this murderer, and take care of him alone. However, Bulleta was hot in pursuit.

Eventually he would track down the murdering werewolf, and confront him. The battle held allowed Jon to see the beast within himself, shining a new light on his curse. Wounding the other werewolf, it would sulk off into the shadows, and leave Jon to rethink his situation. From that moment on, he would no longer look upon his curse as that, but as a gift. He would use his abilities to help mankind, instead of remaining a tormented soul.
